6th "ITS in Europe" - European Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport System and Services
18th-20th june 2007
This Congress is organised by ITS Congress Association, on behalf of ERTICO, in co-operation with ITS Denmark, the County of North Jutland and the City of Aalborg.
The Congress is a fantastic opportunity for transport executives and members of the ITS community to meet and make the necessary contacts to move initiatives forward. |

SIMBA European Priority Workshop

The workshop will discuss priority areas for road transport research cooperation between Europe and Brazil, China, India and South Africa. Discussions at the event should establish concrete areas for future collaboration between Europe and these emerging markets. |

SIMBA Brazil National Event
4h-5th October 2007 - Hotel Royal Palm Plaza, Campinas
The SIMBA Brazil National Event will be held in conjunction with the CBR&C 2007 (5th Brazilian Congress of Highways and Concessions) and BRASVIAS 2007 (5th International Exhibition of Highway Products) from 4-5 October. Over one thousand participants, including high level government officials, are expected to attend these events.
During the Brazil National Event automotive topics will focus on commercial vehicles; transport of cargo, effect of commercial vehicles on roads and vice versa. Discussion on infrastructure topics will include; improving efficiency in cargo transport, maintaining and improving roads, road safety and behavioural problems, pavement asset management and maintenance, environmental impact, noise and recycling, and developing new infrastructure. ITS topics to be explored include; intelligent traffic lights, incident management and detection, awareness raising amongst government and citizens about ITS, roles of ITS stakeholders and ITS policies. A showcase of European technologies in Brazil is also planned.
Aims of the event include the creation of joint EU-Brazil expert working groups, project proposals and joint road transport research roadmaps. |

14th ITS World Congress
9-13 October 2007, Bejing Exhibition Center (China)
The 14th World Congress on ITS will take place in Beijing, China, October 9-13, 2007, with the theme of "ITS for a Better Life". Based on the success of past Congresses, it will bring together representatives of governments and related organizations as well as industry experts from many countries in the world, providing a unique exchange of ideas on ITS and discussing strategies and initiatives. The Congress will also review and showcase the ITS industry's latest products and technological achievements, offering a window on future trends. At the same time the Congress will give the world a glimpse at China's ITS achievements by organizing technical tours and sightseeing activities, including the ITS projects underway in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Shanghai Expo and Guangzhou Asia Games. |
